Great Wilderness Challenge

Album of Georgina MacLeod Llewellyn

I have a family connection with the area covered by the Great Wilderness Challenge. My grandmother (Christie MacKenzie)was born in 1879 at Strathan More. My mother's Aunty and Uncle lived at Shenaval (Cameron). I'm making a collection of any photos I can find for my family tree.
My mother (Flora MacLeod)taught a little boy at Achenige (Johnny Boa) but have not found that on your route yet.

UPDATE - Thanks to Inga Ross, Evanton, I have found lots of photos of where my family spent part of their lives - Shenavall, Achineigi, Guisachan, Strathan More. Still looking for Smirosaire, Leckie and the ruin on Fionn Loch which I can't remember the name in the bay called Sandy Bay these days. Unfortunately they are not on the GWC route!
